the birth of czi, a dialogue between the muse and the artist
I was not looking for a business idea. There was no business plan, no strategy. Just the sea, the sky, the sun, and silence. In this moment of absolute stillness, surrounded by water and completely at peace with the place, my mind started to wander. Somewhere between contemplation and imagination, the Muse appeared. I pictured a man walking in the Mediterranean light, wild yet elegant, confident and free. He was wearing almost nothing and yet, he was wearing art. A new painting was taking shape in my mind, embracing his body, moving with him, becoming an expression of who he was.
The body became the canvas. The wearer, the Masterpiece.
And just like that, CZI first swim shorts were born.
What began as an instinctive vision became the founding idea behind CZI: taking art beyond the canvas to celebrate those who dare to express their individuality.”
